I never really thought about it as being Ash (I'm assuming you mean the Pokemon Ash) on the cliff, but now that it's been put out there, I can't un-see it.
I found the image
here so, I don't think it was originally supposed to be him. But just between us, that's how I'm going to explain it to anybody who asks from now on.

It certainly looks like Pokemon Ash! And it'd be easier to say it is than try to come up with something else!

I know it's been a while since I posted a picture, but I was having some major issues with choosing colours over the last week. I went back to Micheal's twice more after the last picture I posted. Yay for 15% off sales!
Anyway, I've been keeping track of the amount of stitches I've gotten done and I thought this would be an interesting picture to put up. I just reached 10% completed! Woooo!
So here's a photo of the full canvas with some help from my boyfriend (he's the legs it's laying on). Oh, and ignore the mess in the background, I took this in my geek room and the BF's guitar customizing stuff tends to make a giant mess.

Congratulations on 10%!
Just had a thought, have you considered trying to get hold of a cone of the colour you're using most of? (939, I think you said?). They are great value to me as they have 50+ skeins worth of thread on them. I tend to buy them in 310 and B5200, saves me a lot of money!

Wow! That's going to be big!!
Cones of colour? I've never seen a cone of thread, especially not DMC.

Ooh, they're great
Here's my current ones:
You get 425 metres on a cone. I know a lot of DMC sellers cut their 8m lengths straight from these, but some sell the cones directly. I think it's worth investing in them, especially when you use a lot of a particular colour!

How many BMH-hours can a cone support?
