Ok so I finished the Atlantis Gate version.
Its a bit bigger than the original version. I used an alphabet to glyph conversion and spelled out my cat's names with glyphs... which meant 10 instead of 9. (Yes I AM crazy!) Now this means that a few glyphs on my gate repeat, but my man and I decided that the concept was worth the artistic license exception!
If someone wants to make their own.... I did write up directions and posted them on my blog. (http://misscarlotta.wordpress.com/)
