I'm just posting this one on here to show that even though I haven't been on the forums in a while, that doesn't mean I haven't been stitching! (since that seemed to be a worry of some on the Sep/Oct challenge forum. This tooke me a long time since I'm not the fastest stitcher and I tend to have multiple things going on at the same time.
I made this for my future-mother-in-law who LOVES babies. I call these **Grandma Projects** because they are the patterns usually found in crafts stores.
PLEASE don't be offended by my title for them, since I love them also and currently have two more waiting in the midst!!
I know what you mean by "Grandma Project", I'm sure many people here do too!
Your stitching looks great. Reminds me of days spent at the beach when I was a young girl...many many moons ago!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one!! And the same thing for me, friends (especially) and family make fun of me for it, until I finish something, then they love it. Friends especially love the video game themed patterns. I recently shared some of my finished stitchings and WIP's for speech class and I had people stopping me after class to ask more about it, I gave them this website and blog, so hopefully they'll look it up!
Ha ha! I already had an idea of what kind of project this would be according to the topic. Nice job, it is cute with the little ones! I like it. Thank you for sharing. My husband teases me b/c I cross stitch and he says it's a granny craft.
Its a cute project. Know what you mean by granny craft, my boyfriend is always saying I'm turning into a crazy old cat lady I don't do many big granny stitchings, but I have been making little lavender/sandlewood mothbags with lace and ribbons etc
