Blue Dragon WIP

I seem to have a thing for dragons lately. I've actually been meaning to post this since I started the project, which was June 28. I actually haven't worked on it in several days - I've gotten hooked on Lord of the Rings Online, so my cross stitching got put on hold. That, and I'm waiting on my order from Herrschner's, because the store where I bought my floss didn't have one of the colors I needed. My grandmother wanted some floss (she embroiders pillowcases) so I added mine onto the order I did for her. Anyway, on to the photos!

After the first 2 hours:

After that, I don't really know how much time I've spent on it - I am not great at keeping up with how long I stitch.

Dragon Cave :) You "steal" dragon eggs, stick 'em in forum signatures and the like, and they hatch and grow up into dragons. Click on any of the ones in my sig and they'll take you to the site.

This is looking good. I've never drawn on a grid with a quilting pen, but it's a good idea. :D

It is SOOOO helpful, especially at the very beginning of the project, because that's usually where I make my mistakes. I've always hated starting in the middle and working my way out, and this way I can start wherever I want to. I did 10x10 squares, since the heavy lines on the chart mark 10x10 squares. I will do this on every cross-stitch I do from now on!

(Also, I need to put up some updated pics, I've done a little more on this... I haven't worked on it in a while though. I need to finish it, I don't really have that much left.)
