Pink Dragon WIP
I wanted to get a little done on this, to see how it was going to turn out before I shared. I made the pattern myself, from one of the dragons on Dragon Cave. A friend of mine wanted me to stitch something for her 3-month-old little girl's room, so this is what she's getting:
I had to adjust some of the colors on the pattern, I wanted to make sure I didn't screw up completely before I showed it off. This is the biggest thing I've done... probably ever. I have a tendency to let my attention wander, and I get frustrated if I put a stitch in the wrong place and give up. The kitchen sampler I did was bigger, but it was a bunch of small pictures, not one big area covered in stitches.

Well, it's getting there:
I *am* going to have to adjust some of the colors if I decide to share the pattern, some of them are a little too close to being identical, and some of them need to be either slightly lighter or slightly darker.

Almost done!
I got a water-soluble pen the other day, and it has helped TREMENDOUSLY - I can fill in where I need to stitch a certain color, then stitch it without having to keep looking back at the chart and counting so much.

This looks SO neat. I think I might have to get a wate rsoluable marker too, I bet it'll help out tons if I am doing a project as well. I love it so far, and I can see why you want to edit those colors if you make a pattern. Yikes!

Sure! The pattern doesn't include the name at the bottom, I did that in a separate pattern to fit the area I had left below the dragon. I just used GIMP to make the image of the name, then once I had it sized right I just imported it into KG Chart.Pyper wrote:Dragon is so cuteAre you willing to share the pattern?
