The IT Crowd
I was going to put something above and below the text, but I am still on the fence about that. What do you guys think?

Re: The IT Crowd
I love it! And I don't think it really needs anything else, but if you really want to add something just keep it simple, like the spaced out stitches from the border or something.

Very nice - love it! I don't think it needs anything else adding to it, it's great the way it is

Yep, I think that's the thing I have suggested most when people have probsFouFou wrote:And that quote is sooooo true when it comes to debugging most computer problems.

Re: The IT Crowd
I once had a lady call in complaining her mouse wouldnt go completely across the screen from left to right. I did the usual troubleshooting and nothing helped...
This went on for around 30 minutes, when I noticed there was a bang each time she did it. I asked her what the noise was and she said there was a wall beside the desk.
Turns out her mouse got half way across the screen before her hand hit the wall and she didnt realize to lift her hand and move the mouse on the pad to keep it going again..
/facepalm
Thanks all for the kind words on the stitch!

Love the stitching, love IT crowd!
My boss once called IT for help because when he moved his bluetooth mouse to the right the cursor moved to the left and vice versa. When the IT guy came to help (it was actually my husband) he looked at the mouse and just turned it up the right way round!

I'm loving the "user error" stories here. I'm a computer technician myself so I see these kinds of things on a daily basis, but there are always new ways people discover to misuse technology, lol. Never seen "The IT Crowd", but maybe I should! Your stitching has also inspired me to make something along these lines that I can hang in my office at work.

Ha! Awesome! Love the show and love the project. I agree with the others, I'd leave it just like it is.

Re: The IT Crowd
I've never seen the IT Crowd, but I may have to check it out now! I work as a consultant for a software company, and I am the only person in my office under the age of 45 (I am 26). Couple that with the fact that I have an engineering degree and somehow I have become the IT person at our small office and everyone asks me to solve their problems. Usually I can figure it out without too much trouble because we never have any huge problems, but it can get a little frustrating.
Around the office, we have an acronym we like to use for bad users - PICNIC. Problem In Chair, Not In Computer (of course, with 'chair' and 'computer' starting with C it can be swapped, but you get the idea).
Love the stitch! I wish I had a copy to give to people when they ask me some of their computer questions
