Re: Kareesh's Random Projects
Needed to complete something, and all my WIPs are in that annoying "detail stage". So, I made a list of all the things I want to make, chose an easy one, and here we go. Sometimes just finishing something makes me feel great. Only took about 3 days to do.

Your stitch made me think of the Intro. Great little Fullmetal Alchemist stitch! I agree, sometimes taking a break from a big stitch to create something small or simple motivates me to get back to the large project when finished.

Re: Kareesh's Random Projects - Batman Projects
Wednesday was Batman Day, celebrating 75 years of the Dark Knight. So, to celebrate, I stitched up a couple of real quick thingies.

Outa curiousity, you still doing that piece where you are stitching one line for each day based on the temperature? If you are, would love to see what that looks like now!

Re: Kareesh's Random Projects
I haven't been doing it due to a ton of stuff needing to be done, but I'm hoping that once I get some things done that need to be done, then I'll get some work done on it. I'll post an update as soon as I have something done on it. Thanks for the interest!BigDaddyWiz wrote:Outa curiousity, you still doing that piece where you are stitching one line for each day based on the temperature? Re: Kareesh's Random Projects
Double post! Because it's my thread and I can do what I want.
Anywho, just finished up Toph from Avatar: The Last Airbender. My brother's girlfriend really wanted me to finish up the rest of the busts, and I finally found the perfect colored aida for Toph, so here she is. I'll post the pattern for it a bit later over with the rest of the patterns.
The picture makes the fabric seem super bright. It's not. It's actually a light seafoam. Kind of like this

THE BLIND BANDIT! This was the one I was waiting for. I agree on the fabric choice - it's perfect (when the correct color is mentally superimposed ).
