Pegasus NeedlePunch & other stuff

Postby arkani » Fri Oct 11, 2013 12:51 am

So I cant' find my old thread in here. So i'll just start a new one.
I did this thing today! I found a pattern on Urban Threads and needlepunched it onto some unbleached calico. :) I think I should have used the brighter counterpart to this variegates colour... though the colour is brighter in pic than in real like. it's very purpley irl.
It'll be part of my neice's Christmas present - I'm thinking of turning it into a pencil case so she can use it at school. I haven't really decided yet, because not procrastinating is hard.

Also - those iron transfer pencils? are GREAT.

Edit: edited the title. Gonna put more stuff in here. :D

Bumping and having a major proud - I've never been able to knit for longer than a night. Like, I'd be going along fine, then the next morning... nope. everything I'd learned had leaked out of my head in the 8-10 hours I was in bed.
UNTIL NOW.

It's going to be for my niece for her birthday in March - it'll be autumn then so a bright pink scarf is just the ticket to stay in cool aunty territory. ;)

I've also lost that pegasus. RMDC DID YOU EATS IT? ;)

Scarf looks great!

And I think we can all agree that the disappearance of the pegasus is highly suspicious... RMDC, do you have an alibi? :P

No, I totally flew to Oz just to get menaced by a pack of giant centipedes riding on huntsman spiders. Do you know how those spiders got their name? They hunt man. And there's apparently a reason for the name of the common death adder, too.

Still, cookie worth trip om nom nom
