Thanks for the tutorial on the french knots! Thats actually the one I found before I decided to attempt them haha. It helped a lot more than when my aunt taught me how years ago.

If you don't mind my asking, in the wip pictures, what size hoop are you using so I can get an estimate of how big it is? I am curious because I have two of the kits but I haven't yet opened them and I kinda what to know what I'm in for lol.

I am using a 6" hoop. I find it easier using a smaller one (I think my smaller one may be 2-3", I'm not sure) when I get close to the top because it holds the fabric tighter.
