Magnificent Wizard by Dimensions WIP

Post by TheLanceman »

In my first post in the Stitching Craft Projects thread I showed a picture of my Magnificent Wizard WIP. Now that I've actually got an account I'd like to post my WIP on this piece. I've had this kit for several years since I first learned how to stitch but never found the time to start such a large project. I recently picked it back up and have been going full force when time is available.

This was taken on 1-17-12.

i have this kit. i kept messing up with one color. when i realized that i would have to get more of that color i stopped stitching it. it currently sits somewhere in my room in a tub with another piece that i never got compelled to start. -sigh- the life of a struggling stitcher.

This kit sat in a box for the better part of a decade cuz I had the same problem in the beginning. I kept messing up with the yellow near the crystal ball (which is around where I started) so it got placed to the side until had the patience to do it right. I think when I picked it up a few months ago I had about a dozen good stitches and the rest had to come out... :banghead: O well... Can't wait to get to the dragon!

This is so great! I have this kit, too, but until recently I never thought I would actually be able to DO a kit like this. I am currently working on something else, but you have definitely inspired me to pull this one out when I am done! Great work so far - this is going to be awesome :)

I have been looking at this kit in the store for probably a decade! It's so awesome that so many people have it and it's getting done! Amazing work!!

Added an update to the main post.

Didn't get as much done this week as I would have liked but life has a way of getting in the way of my crafting...
