Soot Sprite Plush

Post by Laialda »

I'm on a crafting frenzy getting things ready for Magfest so sorry if you keep seeing my name pop up over the next moth and a half.

Anyway, I'd planned on making these for some time and since I needed one as a Christmas gift anyway I decided to make a batch.

I really love these guys. :D Instead of the traditional fun fur yarn you normally see these made out of, I went with one that looked a bit more smokey/dirty instead. The picture doesn't quite do it justice. As a side result, these are also super soft and hugable...though fitting just in the palm of your hand makes it a very tiny hug. :P

Oooh, they're so cute! I have no idea how you made them, but they look just like those in the movie! :good:

Thank you, my goal is to always making my crafts resemble the original as much as my medium will allow. :)

I almost did use googly eyes but instead, I decided to draw their pupils on plain white buttons. This allows the eyes to be turned so the soot sprites can be posed looking at something instead of just down. :nod
