The chair was just painted in primer. And my tricycle isnt rideable, but that didnt stop my friend from trying!!

What exactly is this course that you're on?

Im in my final year on a special effects development course...and of course Ive taken a liking to making props

My last project is a suit of armour...hence the chainmail...so keep an eye out for that! Been working on the helmet today, and its the last thing I need to finish moulding. Its scary exciting!

I was in a props show and the amount of people that thought it was metal was amazing! (Its actually fiberglass ) I could have made it a bit better (I had the arm pieces and gauntlets too, which didnt turn out as nicely) but with the time I had Im pleased with the final results!

Hopefully it wont be the end of my prop making!

That's fiberglass?? Wow. Super impressed with your paint/weathering job. I was convinced it was metal.

If you don't mind me asking, what did you use to make it look so much like metal?
