i just found this site a while ago and only now have found the time to register and take some pictures of what i've made.

anyways, the first craft i ever took up was origami, and so i thought it would be fitting to make my first post about one of my origami creations, which i made about 5 years ago:

it makes use of a piece found in tomoko fuse's book, origami quilts. i must have spent weeks working on folding all of the 256 pixels, and it measures at least 3' x 3'.
the amount of time, the size, and the limitation of origami paper colors have pretty much guaranteed that this will be my only video game themed work of origami. but that's not a problem, because soon after i completed the goomba, i discovered crossstitch. i'll get around to posting my crossstitch works soon

That is so cool! I really love the texture that the origami squares give to the sprite. If you ever make more of these I would love to see them.

That is seriously epic! What's the name of the origami fold you used to make the squares?
