TigerLily's Misc Projects- Tifa Pixel Blanket Complete Pg 3
For this month's challenge and in honour of Yoshi's Woolly World coming out, I decided to crochet myself a little Woolly Yoshi.
Here he is marching along with the yarn balls that he's collected along the way.
Here he is knitting himself a little scarf.
Another knitting picture, just because it was fun setting him up like this.

Every time we see anything about this game coming out, my SO says something along the lines of Nintendo making a game specifically for me. It's like they read my mind and put two of my biggest loves in one game. I just keep getting so excited about it every time I see it mentioned.

So cute. Seeing him knit reminds me of Spirited Away. He also looks simpler to make then the one I'm working on.

Thanks! I tried to loosely base him on the shape of the knitted Amiibos. I wanted to be able to make him a bit quickly so I tried crocheting relatively basic shapes for each piece, just to make him a bit easier.blackberrybear wrote:So cute. So very, very cute!! Unfortunately I won't be able to play the game (grumble grumble wrong console grumble) but I love the idea of it.

They're awesome. I'd learn to crochet just to make these!

Re: Yoshi's Woolly World
Thanks everyone! I love Yoshi so much, so I'm super excited that he turned out well.
Firehawk- I probably won't knit (have him knit) the rest of the scarf because I have so much stuff to do, but at least he's gotten started. Who knows, maybe if I'm bored one night.

Re: Yoshi's Woolly World- And Tigerlily's Other Projects
I've decided to turn this into a thread for all of my video game related crochet and knitting.
My current WIP is a pixel blanket. I'm trying to use up a ton of my stash in order to make a nice blanket for my SO. I don't think he knows exactly what I'm making at the moment because right now it just looks like I've gone square happy. I've sort of got to keep the current squares hidden and packed away as I make them, though, because I have a feeling that if he saw the colours, he could guess what it is going to eventually be.
Here is what I have so far- 351 squares:
(Sorry for the blurriness)
