WIP Video Game Quilt

So I bought my material for the sashing between the squares; added Link's face and the King of All Cosmos face... been working on Pikmin and Chocobo eyes as well as the detail work on my three Kingdom flags, and the character faces.

But today I did a preliminary layout of my quilt to see how the squares fit together, so that I don't have any oriented towards actions off quilt. And here's a snap of the layout I'm thinking I'll go with:


For Sashing I'm going with a navy as my main color with a steelish blue as my inset corners:

Lots of finer work added to the quilt.....

Pikmin and Chocobo gained some eyes!



And the bf's character has a face now!


Otherwise it was mostly cutting out pieces for the sashing!

Added some details to the Sand'oria flag.


And stitched the first row of squares and sashing together:


I've also stitched the sashing row below that row together... but didn't take a photo... shame on me!

Dunno if you're asking me or misscarlotta but eh
I don't play XI anymore, but I was on Alexander and then Queztalcoatl (or however you spell that thing!). Of course, now I play XIV, but that's a different story....
