What do you eat while stitching/crafting

Cross stitching always makes me hungry so I end up snacking. I tend to eat licorice or Pringles & a beer if I'm lucky. What do you snack on?

I always worry about the oily stuff on the licorice & the grease from the Pringles staining my work. I think water & pretzels would be a safer snack. How about your snack foods, are you asking for trouble just like me?

I generally take snack breaks so I can wash my hands before stitching; i'm really paranoid about stains!

I do that too! But I also keep a bottle of the quick drying hand wash gel on my desk as well - it's really effective at killing germs as well as removing any oils / grease!

Everything! Favourites are chocolate, crumpets with lots of butter, biscuits with a cup of tea, pringles, noodles, fruit, protein bars...the list is pretty much endless. :D

I rarely have snacks these days, I loose track of the time. One minute it is light, and then I look up and is dark =) I tend to have carrot sticks and copious amounts of water when I plan a long stitching session. Mostly because I don't need to worry too much about staining my work that way.

I used to snack all the time while stitching but now I am trying to use it as a distraction from snacking!!! I do still have cups of tea/cans of coke and the occasional Pringle or bar of choc but I keep a packet of baby wipes/wet wipes handy so I can clean off before handling the stitching again. I get really paranoid about getting stuff on my work these days

Mostly I have a cup of tea handy. I tend to stitch in smaller sessions, up to an hour or so at a time, and then do something else for a while, so snacks happen then

I *try* not to snack while crafting, particularly when I'm crocheting where if I become distracted, that's it. I've lost count, no going back! When I'm stitching, it's usually a bowl of peanut M&Ms also with wipes handy so I don't get rainbow corners!

I rarely snack while I'm stitching because I'm so afraid of staining what I'm stitching, maybe I'll have a cheese stick, the kind that stays in the plastic wrapper :) It doesn't help that I love snacks that leave stuff on my fingers (strawberry juice, dorito crumbs....)

To make up for it I almost always have a coffee, soda, chocolate milk, something fun to sip on while I'm stitching.

Mmmmmm - Peanut M&M's - I'm gonna have to make a trip to the shops now! Haven't had them in ages and now have a mega craving for them! :D
