Eh, I'm probably in the middle somewhere at 23. I was first introduced to cross-stitching by my mom when I was pretty young. We made plastic canvas ornaments for our tree just about every year. Since I can't draw, or paint, or do pretty much anything else creative, I stuck to cross-stitching.

I'm 20, but I think I started when I was about 5. Took a look break between being 11 and 18 though, so I have some catching up to do!

I'm just turned 18, personally. But I think that anyone who takes this kind of craft seriously enough to join this kind of board has probably been doing it for a while or wants to do it for the rest of their lives.

I am 27. I also thought I might be in the minority here being a guy (not to be misogynistic of course!) but I actually think there's lots of men on the forum.

I frankly don't understand why anyone says that in the first place, given how many of the more visible members in the geek craft community are guys. Like Johloh.

I am 30 and a guy also. Cross stitching I have found out is becoming more for all people not just women. I know a few guys that stitch also and they like doing it. To me it is a great time passer and my wife just keeps giving me things to stitch.
