Can I use a lint roller on my WIPs?

Pretty much what the topic says; my newest WIP is using an inordinate amount of black thread and as much as I try to keep the lint (and randoms strands of dog hair...) from getting stuck on everything, it's still there and it looks quite obvious and sort of dusty. Is it safe to use a lint roller? Might seem like a silly question but I've been at it for a while and I don't want to wreck it by accident or anything like that! Thanks guys

I dunno if I would use one of those sticky paper lint rollers, but maybe one of the ones that use velvet on it? I imagine those would be gentler on the project than running something sticky over it. I would be concerned with it pulling on the stitches or leaving something behind.

I've used lint rollers before and it's been fine... Maybe try to go lightly?

I've used the sticky paper lint rollers several times on my works in progress, and they have come to no harm. It doesn't leave any sticky residue or anything like that. Hell, I've even used a strip of packing tape when my lint rollers ran out, and it didn't harm my project either. As long as you're not leaving sit on the fabric or anything, I think it should be fine.

Yes, as long as everything is tied off and you don't press too hard. If you're "parking" threads and they're not tied off, I wouldn't do it as it can tug things up. I would definitely make sure you wash your project though so that any residue comes off.
