Sprite Stitch Board!

Hi, my boyfriend and me are reorganising our flat and I found this cute little frame but have no idea what to put in it. The space is about 3 by 3 inches and I figured I could do a little stitch for it but no idea what! This is a picture of it for colours and the silver is actually mirrored:
We're a pokemon/zelda family, I'd quite like something that's from a game but not overtly gamey if you know what I mean.

I'm open to any suggestions, the more the better because my brain just isn't working to think of anything today.

how about a pokeball opening to reveal Navi? Might be tricksy to get it that small though... Navi on her own would be cute, especially if you use metallic thread to complement the frame...
