Sprite Stitch Board!

Hi guys,

My friends are getting married and as their MOH I really want to make them something super special. I want to do a wedding sampler, but I want to come up with some sort of classic video game or general nerdery theme going on, especially since the wedding party members are all supposed to dress in their own respective House colors according to Pottermore... we're massive geeks (video games, tabletop RPGs, anime, etc.), so I really want it to suit both their home and their personalities. If anyone has seen any fantastically nerdy wedding sampler patterns, or has any ideas, please let me know! The wedding isn't until the end of June, so I have plenty of time.

Are the bride and groom also dressing in their house colors or is is just the rest of the wedding party?

If they are dressing their house colors as well, I would theme the sampler around it in some way so it ties in to that and also reminds of them of their special day.

What an awesome wedding theme!! If only my boyfriend would ever even consider it!
You could go for a Fawkes the phoenix type thing how they live forever and junk?
Or a Hogwarts crest but with their initials and do an est. (??)/(??)/2013 on it or something.
