Out of curiosity, do any of the UK-based Sprite Stitchers on here own a Gamecube Broadband adaptor? They were used to go online for games like Phantasy Star Online or for LAN connections for Mario Kart Double Dash.

I do, and I had a hell of a time finding one for a reasonable price. I think I eventually found this one on ebay, for about £15, which was pretty lucky considering the rest of the available ones started at 2x that.
You looking for one?

Maybe, a friend of mine is organising his stag do and I suggested some multiplayer Mario Kart (an idea I had for another friends stag). He works for Codemasters, so he's going to see if they have any in storage. It looks like they are pretty rare now, I've not seen one for less than £30.

I used to have a Gamecube (I bought it used) with all the works: gameboy cartridge reader, internet adapter, etc... I regret selling it now.
There's a local chain here called
Gamers that has a lot of vintage game systems and parts. No idea if they would ship internationally, but if not, and if there's time, I could pick it up and ship it for you. (they do ebay, but I don't see parts on there)

Thanks very much! My friend is going to see if he can get some himself first. His last job was at Ubisoft so he's asking friends over there too. It's not til the end of August so we have plenty of time to track some down if we can.

NP,they have a HUGE selection of old game cartridges and 12 stores so I bet they have some.
I saw a SNES Super Metroid cartridge for $25 and was tempted.... I just got a copy of the Last Story (wii) there instead as my friend told me it was the "best rpg since the PS2" that she'd played - she likes the old skool JRPGS so we'll see...
