Site Writer - Pixel Stitches

My name is Jessie and I’m an artist from New Jersey. I am involved in way too many different types of video game crafts, but you can usually find me cross stitching or using mini hama beads to create nerdy jewelry. When I’m not crafting or playing video games, I’m into watching 80′s cartoons/shows, getting tattoos, traveling, remodeling my moon robot Big Loo, and reading comics. Oh yeah, and trying to beat my friend’s Donkey Kong high scores. Nice to meet you!
Top 3 games - Mass Effect 2, Chrono Trigger, EarthBound

Site Writer - Holly

My name is Holly, and I’m a video games blogger. I’m always keeping my hands busy, whether it’s writing about video games, playing video games, or making crafts inspired by video games! Among my favorite series are Fallout, Legend of Zelda, Diablo, and Left 4 Dead. I also love a good PC horror point and click. On the rare occasion I’m not doing something game-related, you’ll find me experimenting in the kitchen, tending my urban garden, or hunting down the PNW’s best microbrew. Sprite Stitch rocks!

Site Writer – gillian

I’m currently a grad student in a games research lab in Santa Cruz, CA. Crafting hobbies include embroidery (cross-stitch and other), sewing, and making patterns.

Top 3 games – 1. Civilization IV, 2. Monkey Island, 3. Professor Layton and the Curious Village

Site Writer – Dark Knight

Hey, my name is Spence Kline, but you probably know me as dark knight. I am a fourteen year old guy from a city called Columbia Station in Ohio. I love, and have always loved, video games. My fondest (and earliest) gaming memories include playing the original Crash Bandicoot games on the good old PS1. I’m sorry to say that I am not a crafter as well as a gamer, but that doesn’t stop me from searching the internet for the best game based crafts out there! My hobbies include playing guitar, blogging, reading, playing games (of course!), and hanging out with my friends and family.

Top 3 games – Final Fantasy IV, Guitar Hero: On Tour Decades, original Crash Bandicoot PS1 games (can’t possibly choose just one!)

Site Writer – Amauriel

My name is Amauriel (or Amanda) and I live in Ohio, USA. I have been a videogamer since I could remember, with my parent’s ColecoVision and then my own Nintendo (NES) when I was 8. My mom felt that I should learn to do homemaker-y things, and tried to teach me how to cook, sew, etc. when all I wanted to do was play video games and build computers. All attempts to teach me to be a homemaker fell short, with the exception of stitching. I even twisted that as I grew out of the Precious Moments patterns and started to make my own video game-related patterns. I’ve been stitching since I was 12 or 13 and have been doing gaming patterns for the last 8 years or so. I haven’t done any crafts yet besides stitching but I’m building up the courage to branch into other fields. I am married to a great guy and fellow gamer and have no kids but four cats: Magus, Alucard, Kefka, and Shadow.

Top 3 games – EarthBound, Legend of Zelda, Chrono Trigger

Site Writer – Icedevimon13

My name in ‘real life’ is Jennifer Faust, and my online alias is Icedevimon13 (though recently, in some places, I’ve dropped the numbers) I am a huge digimon fan as well as a vampire lover. The two go well together… Just look at all those vampiric monsters! …anyway, I’ve been playing video games since I was very young. My earliest memory is of Arkanoid on the floor of my grandmother’s living room. (and also of Castlevania III, but I don’t count the games I can’t beat <_<) Ahem. Those were the days! Now I use my love of sprite based gaming for my craft hobbies. I delve primarily in cross stitch (pokes Super Metroid project), but I have also given perler beads, and recently, needlepoint, a try.

Top 3 games – Chrono Trigger, Super Metroid, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

Site Writer – predawn

“Hello! My name is Melissa, also known as predawn. I am a 19 year-old college freshman living in Illinois. I came across this site one day when I was bored, and I’m very happy to be here. I started cross stitching when I was very young after I found my mother’s supplies tucked away in a cabinet. Cross stitching is my specialty, but I am also learning how to latch hook and some day I hope to do some bead spriting. Happy crafting!”
