Pokemon Birthmas Gifts

Post by loafoftoast »

So I have a friend who's absolutely OBSESSED with the Eon evolutions, and I've decided to make her some coasters based on the derpy eevees that I found here.

I've already almost finished one of them:

And I've created the design for the next one
(I mock up the locations of the text based on the outline of the 'mons and then use the original pattern for the 'mons themselves):

But, I'm stuck on the duos for the other two! If anybody has any ideas, I welcome them with open arms. Oh, and I have no idea what to do for the backgrounds....

they're adorable!! i can't wait to see them all finished. i'm sure your friend will love them.

as for the combos, maybe you could go with flareon/vaporeon and eevee/jolteon. that's how i would do it, anyway.

So! I've been thinking about the backgrounds. I bought a pack of varigated threads and I think I may experiment to see what I can come up with using them.

I have fully finished the first piece of my project! Everyone gets cookies and sparklers! :yahoo:

Behold, but note that I'm not completely sure what I think about it.

Looks really good. would love to see the whole set when its finally finished. Btw, I was playing around with your Eevee coaster, and i think it, like all of your coasters, would work best without a border on it. However, if you do want to do a border on that one, i have did a sample border on it for you. Just my personal opinion. They look good though, keep it up.
