AAAADVENTURE TIME! Completed!
I'm currently working on an adventure time sleeve for a lady's dsi xl =D it's actually way huger than a DSi xl.. but she has like.. one of those nerf plastic cases on it already. I'm not exactly sure why she wants another one =D

That looks really awesome so far.
Some technique questions: did you have the cloud as a larger piece of fabric in a hoop and then cut it out? Is it just one layer of cotton fabric? How do you stop the edges from fraying or are they sewn onto the larger piece so it doesn't matter? Thanks!

I'm an anomaly, but I dont' like using hoops. I always get annoyed with them, and feel like they get in the way for me =)natalielowen wrote:Some technique questions: did you have the cloud as a larger piece of fabric in a hoop and then cut it out? For the cloud, I cut out a larger rectangle of muslin and a matching sized rectangle of heavy stabilizer then stitched them together along the edges. It gives the fabric support when hand embroidering on my machine. a few of the colors on the cloud I did by hand, and a few of them ( the letters mostly) I did on my machine. then I stitched along the edges with a normal stitch to keep it together and trimmed around the edges. I have to create some characters that will go on the backside of the cloud on a blue fabric, then I'll stitch around the edges with a really close zig zaggy stitch on my machine. It will close it up, and make them distinctly edges.
hope I described it well enough =)

I know of at least 3 people who would buy this. One would want it to put his wacom tablet in it. (I think I spelled that right - the drawing tablet for his laptop.)
Anyhoo that is so cool! Pixelpocket, I am SUCH a fan of yours now. You are just amazing.

Thanks guys!
I plan on posting an updated pic on monday... unless I get lazy.
This was a custom order for a lady in southern california. She had previously ordered a zelda skyward sword case too.
hmm.. I should really shrink these things more...
and c'mon.. you guys can do stuff like this, it just takes extra patience =D

Your cases are amazing. I looked at your Etsy and saw your FFIII case and felt inspired. My husband would love the Adventure time one your making now.
