My first cross stitch project, Doctor Who WIP

Hi!

I've been stalking this site for quite some time now and I finally went out and bought what I needed to get started myself. I bought the pattern off etsy, you can see it here: link

Anywho, here is what I got done last night:

It's not much, but it's something at least. I'm quite proud, seeing it's my first time

I'm hoping to finish this soon, by the end of the week, maybe. I'll post more pictures as I get more done.

Yes, I'm trying, but it's so hard! I have a question though, when I finish should I just iron it or put it under a towel and iron it? Also, should I wash it?

I always wash my pieces, and I iron them on the back while slightly damp.
