My first cross stitch project, Doctor Who WIP

Post by Candycorn »

Hi!

I've been stalking this site for quite some time now and I finally went out and bought what I needed to get started myself. I bought the pattern off etsy, you can see it here: link

Anywho, here is what I got done last night:

It's not much, but it's something at least. I'm quite proud, seeing it's my first time :nod

I'm hoping to finish this soon, by the end of the week, maybe. I'll post more pictures as I get more done. :D

Thanks!

Yes, I'm trying, but it's so hard! I have a question though, when I finish should I just iron it or put it under a towel and iron it? Also, should I wash it?

I always wash my pieces, and I iron them on the back while slightly damp.

Check out the Techniques and Guides board, there's lots of washing/ironing help floating around in there somewhere, including this guide from Eliste - viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3559

Hope that helps!
