Just a quick question tho how are you planning on sewing the strips together so it looks like 1 piece of aida was used?

I probably won't be able to hide the seam completely, but I'm thinking it's probably best to do it by hand so I can align the stitches as good as possible. I'll probably use something like the ladder stitch, so I can work from the front and se how it progresses: http://www.embroiderersguild.com/stitch ... adder.html
