So I came in on this thread a little late (like 9 pages late) and I'm trying to read through and catch up but I think in the process I got lost :_(
Can someone post or link to a summary of the "final" requirements and a list of "taken" or "needed" squares?

I'd love to do a piece but I want to make sure I do it right...

Oh you're fantastic! it is a square that's 70x70 on 14ct aida. as for pokemon already chosen, you would probably have to wait until Faewren gets back on and perhaps reposts? ^_^ sorry, thanks for joining this, even 1 more person means quicker quilts over all! :D

Thanks Lillium.
I'll put my personal projects on hold - this is more important to me. I've been wanting to do something since the earthquake/tsunami and this is perfect. I'll also add that we should ask Bulbapedia to link something on their main page once we get this finished - they are getting a ton of traffic since B&W's release.

I have a TON of floss colors (3 boxes of bobbins) so if there's a patch someone really wants but can't stitch let me know! Otherwise I may request a couple :)

All those squares so far look great :)

Randomly browsing Google Images for pokeballs, I found a picture that reminded me of this project so much, I had to post it here!

Here are the patch requirements -

70x70 square
14 ct Aida fabric (white or cream or other light color seems to be the preference)
This first quilt is Gen I only. But you can use any sprite (even the old school ones) for your patch.

Here are the Pokemon that are being put together (so that it will all fit) that have not been taken,
Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan
Jinx/Mr. Mime
Scyther/Pincir

We also need these Gym Leaders/Elite 4 Members;
Brock/Misty (see below for square)
Lt. Surge/Erika
Sabrina/Koga
Lorelei/Bruno

Who's doing What;

Brityboo - Seal/Dugong, Ponyta/Rapidash, Pidgey/Pidgeotto/Pidgeot
Holder of Anime - Charmander/Charmeleon/Charizard
LilliumRyn - Lapras, Gastly/Haunter/Gengar, Legendary Birds
Faewren - Pikachu/Raichu, Logo, Mewtwo/Mew, Champion/Trainer, Ditto
Craftymaster - Agatha/Lance, Blaine/Giovanni, Dratini/Dragonair/Dragonite, Eevee Evolutions
Riotpatch - Cubone/Marowak
Kuja.girl - ??

These are the backgrounds for the Pokemon

[The extension bmp has been deactivated and can no longer be displayed.]

Key to which background to use - if the Pokemon evolution is mostly flying, use sky. If it is mostly ground, use ground.

Here's what the 'claimed' patches look like

[The extension bmp has been deactivated and can no longer be displayed.]

And here are some designed but unclaimed patches

[The extension bmp has been deactivated and can no longer be displayed.]

Let me know if I've forgotten anything.
And Blackmageheart - I LOVE that flag! That's perfect for this project isn't it?
We are the Patchwork Pokemon Gym! Fear our needles for we summon our Pokemon with fabric and floss! And we are AWESOME!!

I've stitched up the trio's HGSS sprites, so if you're interested in those, I can give you the colours I used (I can even post a picture if you want to see what they look like with said colours)

I would be willing to do Jinx/Mr. Mime if the pattern is made. I can't make patterns right 'cause I don't have enough practice. :)
