I needed a bookmark and this concept just sort of popped into my head and thought it was a good idea. I wasn't sure how to finish it and I read that some people use tape and an iron on the back. Having neither on hand, I decided to fold the sides over and weave a length of thread through to hold it fast. I'm pleased with the way it looks, but as far as functionality, the bookmark is pretty thick thanks to the folding. Let me know your thoughts! :tri

I find doing it this way makes it too thick. Since I invest in books I don't want them damaged.
A better way-- use a piece of fabric with stiffener and a spray glue --can find it in craft stores
You stiffen the fabric-(slightly bigger then the bookmark) to the directions on the container. It will harden enough to glue it the back of the bookmark.
Then you trim both to get a clean edge. The stiffener and glue spray will last a long time!! Can make lots of bookmarks!!

Nice bookmark too! :)

I took some screen shots of the game I found online (not an easy search) and charted it on graph paper. I can make up a KG pattern when I have time over the next couple days and put it in the patterns section.

*I'm sorry about the size. I didn't preview it before I submitted.
