Here's an update. Since the picture was taken I've gotten "Ninte" done. Oh, and don't mind the black string. That's part of the half stitches I started doing, but then stopped so I could finish the pattern.

Is it just my computer screen, or do your colors seem very bright? Particularly the Duck Hunt dog.
Current Project(s): How much time do you have? LOL

Actually, it's brighter than the previous ones 'cause I was able to take it next to an open window with the sun as opposed to my yellowish lights which the other ones were taken under.

On my computer screen, they don't seem that terribly bright.

Haven't gotten a chance to work on this as much lately due to working on my baby record, as well as just being plain busy IRL. But, I'm totally sick of that reddish orange colour, so now I'm going to get sick of white.

Also, as I'm getting kinda sorta close to finishing this, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to how I should do the background. I thought I was going to do it all in half stitches, but even that will take forever. My second thought was doing a satin stitch.

Any help would be appreciated. :D

Brought this bad boy out from the depths of my WIP bag, and started working on it again. I'm thinking I'm probably gonig to have to cross stitch the whole background black, which is something I'm not looking forward to. Ugh....I ran out of some colors and Michael's was out of them (including white!)

Anywho, here's the progress report:

I've started the long process of adding black to this piece. I also got some white parts (which you can't see) done and some more blocks added.

This looks really good! Is there any way you can still satin stitch some of it and have it look cohesive? That would save you tons of time. Whatever you do, it's going to look awesome!
