Dvd's Stitching Projects

So, I'm pretty new to cross-stitching (started a few months into this year), but now after several months I've gotten some things done. So, here's some pics of my progress.

First off is a donkey kong bookmark, inspired by on Johloh completed a while back. It was my first project, so I used pearle cotton thread instead of the standard floss because it was single-strand and I already had some in stock. In hindsight, using regular dmc floss probably would have been easier, but I'm proud of how it turned out. Now all I have to do is back it and then I'll be using it for my summer reading.

Next is my current project, Servo's Cucco Avalanche. I'm really happy with how its turning out, but all the same, its taking a while. So here are some progress shots.
