Mario key-ring

Post by HerrPersilja »

First I thought making the ?-box in 3D. That would have been cool I think. A 3D-box above a 2D-Mario.
Maybe I will try to do one later. With that green and white guy instead.
Any ideas or guides on how to cross stitch a box?

my only suggestion is to make 6 of those (not 6 of the thing both sides, just the one side obviously) and stitch them together. If you want the box to be openable, you could finish off the sides where they aren't sewn together and use a bead or small button for the closure (coins inside, hehe)

I would suggest having it open up on the side if you do that. :Mario

Ah, yes it would be a really challenging project. Even if opened on the side it's a big risk that the goodies inside will fall out and on the sidewalk and then some kid picks it up and throw it away.
And Mario will miss a 1-up
That would need some sort of snap-lock.
It was just a fun idea I think. Maybe later :)

Love it! Too cute :) Soo many possibilities with that... could do a box on the bottom and a coin up top... Can't wait to see what you come up with ^^
