Mega Man 7 - Finished!!

Post by LiquidKarma »

Hello,

Here's a WIP shot of my current project - a screenshot from Mega Man 7 for the SNES. I normally don't do WIP shots for stitchings but I thought I would this time to motivate myself to finish it faster :D

Unfortunately I didn't keep the name of the person who ripped the original image but I'll update the thread once I figure it out.

Pattern was made by me :)

Are you making that on plastic canvas?

Is plastic canvas expensive?

Is it easy to use? (i.e. can I have it on my lap whilst watching the simpsons? :D)

Wow that looks awesome! I guess I never realized you could stitch a screenshot on plastic canvas. I've made things before out of it but never just a picture on a sheet. You've inspired me!

Thanks!! This is motivating me to finish it now. I think all but 1 of the cross stitches I've done has been on plastic canvas (or perforated plastic) I absolutely love it you should give it a try!

Oh I definitely will! Now do you use the floss on the perforated plastic like normal cross stitching and yarn on the plastic canvas since the holes are bigger?

I use floss on the perforated plastic like normal cross stitching because it's 14ct. I haven't been able to find it any small but i'm not sure I want to...

Yes, I use yarn on plastic canvas since the holes are bigger, however, the perforated plastic I'm using is labelled as plastic canvas so I'm guessing the terms are somewhat interchangeable.

When I make patterns I normally make them to fit the plastic since it's 114x151 stitches and they fit perfectly in document size frames.
