ImaginaryAnna's Million Projects~

Post by imaginaryanna »

Hello everyone!

I figured that since I decided to make little cross stitched christmas presents for my friends, I should make a little thread to post up progress pictures for motivation!

Most of the patterns that I've collected so far are via google, looking for similar projects and using paint to copy and customize the pattern.

My to-stitch list so far: (Updated 1/4)
Tardis - have pattern in paint (I'm so fancy haha), have supplies..... Finished!!!
Sausage doggies - pattern finished (in paint, because fancy), have supplies... In progress!...Finished!
Zelda wedding sampler - found an awesome pattern here, need to customize names and date~, need a few colors still
-------Pattern at: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=15634&hilit=LOZ+anniversary
Korean wedding ducks sampler - need to make pattern, have colors, have canvas~
Mew - pattern from google, have supplies ... In progress!
League of Legends Yasuo - have pattern and supplies.... started! ....and Finished!

So.... as you can see, I'll be quite busy! Since moving from California to South Korea, finding the supplies I need became slightly more challenging.... but I'm venturing to a crafting mecca in the next few days, I'm hoping to find everything I need there!

May this thread keep me on track and accountable.... 22 days to go~

That sounds like a lot to take on in such a short amount of time, good luck!

Thank you, I'll need lots of luck!!

Most of the projects are small things, that could be finished in an afternoon once I have the patterns and supplies. ((Yay for minimal colors and tiny projects!)) The one big one, I'm considering replacing with a smaller version and making it for his birthday in June~

I tend to tackle things and immerse myself in them completely, so I'm not planning on having any sort of life outside of stitching for a while haha....

Here is something that I just finished stitching! It is a "Happy Visa" present from me to me, celebrating FINALLY getting my marriage visa so I can stay legally in Korea!

Image

While I was in Japan applying for my visa, I visited some craft stores and saw a kit for a mickey pillow on display! Sadly, they were out of stock everywhere, but with some help from the shop hands, I was able to gather the supplies to make it by eye.... and so this mickey pillow was born!

I still have to do all the end prep work like washing and ironing.... then sew this bad boy into a pillow cover for my couch <3
(Unless of course I decide last minute to add a bit of stitching in the bottom left... hmm... )

It is on approx. 9 count oatmeal-ish. DMC threads, the whole thread for a stitch!

I'll go back and link the link project in my list of to-do :D (pun intended this time haha)

Today I went and got some of the supplies! I picked up the aida (14 count I think) and the thread colors for the LoL Yasuo, Tardis, and the sausage doggies! Also, I picked up some of those handy thread winder plastic pieces because organization!

Tonight, I shall BEGIN!! I'm so excited :yahoo:
