Some of those Fitness Blender workouts are very good. :)

And it's Monday again, which is weigh in day. I'm down 0.6kg from last week - not much but that's fine! I've been doing well with my strength training and I've started doing a daily squats challenge. x+5 squats every day (with one rest day). It's 40 squats today!

Ugh...I did not do great at all this week. I have no idea what's going on. I know I didn't eat *great* this week, but I didn't think it was enough to warrant a 3 pound gain! I'm really going to make an effort this week to get back into exercising and reeeeeally watching what I eat.

I know I'm a bored/emotional eater, which isn't great. It seems like I'm either depressed or bored 'cause I'm home by myself most of the time after my daughter goes to bed. One would think my crafting would help, but apparently not. *sigh*

When this happens, do what I do - write it off and start over. As long as you keep trying, eventually it will be much easier to stick to!

I really understand this. I'm not only a bored/emotional eater, but I am a binge eater. It's totally linked to my emotional state and what I think of as my "self-portrait", so not doing it is a real struggle for me right now. But I am trying and I have to remember to congratulate myself for not devouring the contents of my kitchen! Please feel free to message me about eating problems at any time, I may be able to give some advice. :)

I'm definitely a bored eater too. I've noticed that since I've been kept a lot busier at work recently, I don't get the urge to snack as much, which is obviously a big help! So I'm trying to always keep myself busy now, except one day each weekend which is my 'chill out' day. It's definitely harder when you're home alone, though.

I always want to snack when I'm bored too. And unfortunately knitting and crocheting isn't always enough to keep my mind off my tummy.

Also, is anyone else a sick junk food person? Whenever I'm sniffly I want pizza and chips and crisps and chocolate. Especially the pizza.

I don't know if you guys can get it where you are, but when I'm sick I go nuts for this stuff called Yogo, which is kind of like a chocolate flavoured custard. It feels super nice on my throat, and I've been known to go through a fair bit of it since I won't eat much else.

I actually went to a music festival on Sunday, so my food choices weren't all that fantastic. All hot chips with lots of salt and vinegar and fizzy drinks

Oh my (insert deity of your choice)... Today I just want to eat ALL THE THINGS. I don't know why. My willpower is getting a real workout!

I had that, but I did eat all the things. I was really tired and stressed, my kitten was neutered yesterday so I was basically waiting all day for the vet to let me know she was ok and that I could take her home. I haven't slept much (even for me) so I'm kinda just ehhhhh at the moment.

I've been having some pretty bad eating days the past couple weeks. A lot of being out and unable to make proper healthy food. I've also been feeling less than 100% when it comes to workouts a couple of days this week. I'm still making slow progress though, so I am happy and won't let myself get discouraged.

I measured myself this morning and since January 1st I have lost 2 cm from my stomach and 1 cm from each arm. Those are 2 of my main focuses, so I'm pleased so far. I don't know if I have changed weight-wise, since I don't own a scale. I might weigh myself at my friends house today when I go over to watch the football match, just out of curiosity. :)
