I feel like I need to just kind of post a bit of an apology here? I've been really absent from the forum and from stitching, just because of some circumstances out of my control that aren't really good or bad, just stuff, you know? But because of that, I've neglected a lot of my duties here involving the swap and the charity quilt, and just being a presence on here, but I'm trying to pick things back up, I got some new supplies to work on the things that need worked on, and so hopefully you should be hearing more from me soon!

Honestly, there isn't really any need for apologies. I think a lot of us have had some recent troubles or events in Life, myself included. Hope you are doing ok, and if you need any help with anything please drop me a PM!

So today started off ok. Got into work, went into one of the other technicians rooms and he said there was an envelope with my name on it,on his computer table. So I opened it and inside was another envelope with a post it attached saying open Sunday. Since Sunday is valentines we both figured that someone had left me a card, so spent the entire morning trying to work out who least it.
Finally gave into temptation just before lunch and open the card. In it was the most creepiest card ever. Had a picture of a squirrel that said meet me at the squirrel bar I'm buying, followed by an email address. There was also a creepy seel inside the card with bugged out eyes and a set of teeth. One of the other techs saw it and found it creepy, and asked of of the teachers if it was from him as a joke. He said no and had a look and it disturbed him. He told me to make a copy and give it to the head of department for reporting. In the end (whilst I was at lunch) he told the HOD. Other members of my department who in the morning where trying to work out where the card came from, also had a look at the card and thought it was weird.
One of the teachers had the idea at the end of the day to put the email into Facebook and see if it showed someone. Luckily he's setting weren't that good, and it showed us who it was. One of the caretakers, who's probably older than my dad. It doesn't sound to bad when explaining it, but when the card is seen it exhumes creepiness.

To top it off when I got home I found out our rabbit, who we've had for 6 years had died.
Just hope tomorrow isn't full of weirdness. One more day then it's half term and I get a week off.

Ugh, how creepy!

...will admit to some curiosity about seeing the actual card, though.

I second the notion to seeing the card, if at all possible. And yes, that does sound creepy. :/

It's the building and the eyes that creep me out.
My sis said it looks like a place young girls go and don't come back from.
