My biggest piece yet...
I recently bought a pattern online from a lady in the UK who owns a business called CrossStitchCards (https://www.facebook.com/CrossStitchCards). She does cards and some really beautiful patterns and her newest that I bought is no exception. As the title of the post says, it will be my biggest piece yet, but so worth it.
It is a beautiful cross inspired by a church window she saw while she and her husband lived in California. I am not only working on my first large piece, but doing it on 28 ct. evenweave which is also a first for me. I think I have the hang of it and will be sharing my first pics in a bit.
Here is the cover sheet of the pattern:
Here is a pic of all the different threads:
The progress so far:
This is the "bottom" of the middle section of the pattern. Since this piece is so big, I did not do my norm which is to count out half of the pattern to the top and start there. I found my center point and started there on this one.

Re: My biggest piece yet...
Thank you Firehawke! I got a lot more of it finished yesterday after I took this picture. Will have to go get a pic while it's still really nice and sunny out. The fractional stitches are kind of killer because I have to get so close to see and make sure I am doing it right but it's all working out so far.
Here's the pic I just took of my progress from yesterday:

Here's the newest progress pic. I finished all the "lead" in the middle portion of the pattern and am starting on the other colors now except the dark gold yellow which was the first thing I did so I could find the proper middle.

Thank you both! The size is 104 stitches wide by 219 stitches tall. I am using 28 ct. evenweave stitching over 2 squares for full stitches and one for fractional stitches. I am working on the stitching pretty much all day except to make meals and do a bit of stuff here and there.
