I was hoping to have this finished in time for the baby, and I do! The baby still isn't due till next month, but the doctor said my brothers girlfriend could go into labor in the next week even. Kinda scary, but I'm looking forward to being an Aunt! I'll post another picture of this when the baby is born, with the name and weight and everything, and hopefully I can then snag some photos of the happy parents and the baby!

Also, sorry the brightness isn't that great. No matter where I took the picture it came out kind of dark, and honestly, french knots aren't as much of a nightmare as I always seem to think. I enjoyed putting these ones in!

Looks great. I did this for a friend's baby about 3 years ago. I did this one because they didn't know the sex, so I had to find a gender-neutral one. I made the huge mistake of just carrying the thread of the French knots over the next one, so you could see the string through the fabric. Oops...

Yeah, I might have to rip a couple of them out. There was this lump where I ironed it from some of the thread stretching from french knot to french knot.. It's hard to avoid that when the french knots are in the middle of nowhere... xD
