Glad to see that achievements will be making a comeback! I really got into watching them unlock during the coloring book challenge. I only wish I'd had time to do more than one entry and help unlock more!

I really like the idea of UFO weekends, too. Could that work with the Skype ring we had going briefly? How did that work out? I recall it fizzling.

It did, but mainly because what we need is a drop in drop out kinda set up, rather than a call group thing. Don't see why it couldn't fit in with UFO weekends or other things though - I will look into it!

Sounds like we need a Ventrilo or Teamspeak room. :)

I'm liking all these ideas! Especially Manuary!

UFO weekends sound like a good idea too.

I don't know anything about Skype. Chatrooms are hit and miss depending on whats being used, Livestream is the thing I've seen the most, it gets glitchy though, but usually good.

Can we have some kind of Literature celebration? Perhaps book quotes?

Create a scene? Were we could each stitch something from a game/film scene eg. Someone stitch a rupee, someone else a chest, someone else one of those creepy hands that fall from the ceiling and freak me out etc.

Google Hangouts may work better than Skype.

I love the idea of a literary/quote challenge Queen Bex! There are quite a few quotes I'd like the excuse to immortalize!
And I know you've done game-specific, but how about console or company specific?

There's also a website called tinychat, where people can cam up if they want to or not. It's free, allows up to 8 people streaming their videos at once, and I don't know how many people can enter the actual chat room at once.

I am absolutely not "tech savvy" (I mostly rely on my hubby and BMH for those types of things) ;). If someone figures this out, though, I would love to get in on it. For me, personally, Friday would be the best day for this. Morning or evening. I'm central time, so for example, when it's noon here it's 6pm in the UK.
