Which quilt should we send to the PA dinner auction?

Post by tnitnetny »

So here they are! Take a good look at both of them. I love them both so much this year and can't decide which to send to the dinner auction. So it is up to you. I need to mail it out next week so let's run this poll until Friday afternoon. So which quilt would you like to see sent to the auction? Or would you just like me to ask Jamie from Child's Play which she would want this year?

Remember we will do something ourselves with the other one. That will be the poll next week.

Oh my goodness! They look amazing! Everyone did a great job!

Personally, I think we would possibly have a higher chance of selling the lap-sized one ourselves, but I'm not 100% sure on that. I've never really sold anything online, so I'm not sure what the market is like out there, including the whole charity thing as well.

Keep in mind we may not sell it on line. I will put a poll up with different options. The question is which quilt do you think will bring the most money at the auction. If you can't decide, then let Jamie decide.

So it looks like Quilt 1 and asking Jamie are tied! I cheated a little and asked Jamie earlier this week and her response was that she loved both of them and either of them would be a hit at the dinner auction.

So we are sending quilt number 1! I will get it in the mail on Monday. (There is no mail on Saturday in Canada, how weird is that?)

I will also get the next set of questions up for you to decide.

There's no mail on the weekends here in Australia either, so not that weird :)

Out of curiosity, why couldn't both quilts be sent to the charity auction?

I think the idea was that we didn't want our quilts to be in direct competition with each other and potentially pulling in less money overall because of it. Also, having only one there makes it seem a lot more unique.
