If there's an Aussie volunteer, sure!icedragonj wrote:Is it possible to have an Austalian based vault as well? I know you don't really want one in every country, but both addresses are still pretty far away (and hence expensive) from here.

Aussie
We could have an Aussie vault, or we could forward all of our packages to one person here, then do a post of them all in one package to the UK.

I like that idea too. Another idea along those lines- it'd be easy to slip a fiver into the packages to the collection point, to help with shipping to the UK/US.icedragonj wrote:I like that idea.Icelandic Hitman wrote: We could have an Aussie vault, or we could forward all of our packages to one person here, then do a post of them all in one package to the UK.

Oh man, an Aussie based vault would be epic! International shipping always surprises me with how much it costs!

Re: Sprite Stitch Vault
I know right! Mostly it is not too bad, as long as it is flat and light, otherwise ek. If these vault items will then be redistributed to people all over the world, then shipping can be saved on twice, assuming supply and demand are equal. I want to donate my entry from the glow in the dark challenge, as it has been hiding in a cupboard not getting much love. It was a terraria scene if anyone can remember (I don't expect you to). Unfortunately I do not think it will be wise for me to volunteer as I do not know what I am doing (or where I will be) next year. Once things get sorted out just let me know where to sendAlly wrote:Oh man, an Aussie based vault would be epic! International shipping always surprises me with how much it costs!

So, which Aussie wants to volunteer? Then we can add your address to the initial post. Since the mini-swap begins next month, we're trying to get everything sorted.
I like arkani's idea of slipping a fiver into the package. We'll make sure that no one is overburdened by shipping costs. And everything will be very organized.

Re: Sprite Stitch Vault
Brilliant idea. I am a... "theory stitcher" (?) - I make patterns and often test them out but then don't know what to do with the finished piece - so I have some nice pieces that have been lying around for a while that could use good homes. I was considering putting them on the swap board but I like this idea better.

I really like this idea, but I am in a similar position to icedragonj. At the moment I don't have the housing stability for anything longer than 6 months.
