I thought Midna was absolutely gorgeous (if I hadn't looked her up I'd never had guessed her for a Zelda game character, shows how in the dark ages I am with this series), she got my favorite vote. I also liked Sailor Moon (oh, I used to have so much Sailor Moon stuff!), and Carmen Sandiego beadwork was nice (even though I've never taken an interest in anything related to her), Ashtar (of coarse), and Valena (kinda eerie, but still something about it). And of coarse the Pokemon duo, admittedly they are very good pieces (I certainly do like the variety of stitches) even if I'm not a Pokemaniac.

Congrats everyone on so many great portraits! I very much enjoyed stitching for this challenge. :D

should we start doing second places? we could do different colored mario stars...gold (yellow) for first place and siver or white for second place?

I think we should do top 3 places.

I kind of agree. We have enough entries these days to warrant it.

I think it's a really good idea. How would it work for people who have multiple wins? I guess those are all first place wins, so they could all be gold.

I think that everyone gets a star when there are ties.

I've really gotta enter one of these challenges someday. All of these entries are fantastic. If I had to pick a favorite, I think I'd go with Ashtar. Awesome use of black aida.
