I feel like this is going to take a decade just to finish, so hopefully I won't even be able to find the issues when it's done. Also, I started a new colour tonight and just as I was putting down the project this crazy thought popped into my head so I thought I'd share it with you all.

That's an amazing picture to stitch, and it's coming along quite nicely. Love all the WIP pics :) keep up the great work!

Thank you, spambot.

The grand Loaf of Toastia has reached a new milestone on the quest for completion.

Behold and be in awe. Also, ignore the huge amount of mess.

Grrrr arg! So I've read about others doing large projects running in to two skiens of the same number that are definately not the same colour and I thought "phew. I haven't had that problem." And then about 20 minutes ago I decided to go through the threads I've picked up and start doing colours that weren't the sunset. And then I noticed it. Two skiens of 155 that are OBVIOUSLY different. And I've already started to use one of them and have more than one skiens worth of stitches to do with it. Excuse my while I go bang my head against a wall. :banghead:

Oh no! Fingers crossed that the one you're using is the most recent one you bought and you can get more of the same dyelot at the store!! Amazing progress! Still loving that sunset!

Wow! I have just found this thread and am in awe of the piece!
I always want to do more smaller pieces and when I have thought about doing big ones, I dread the damn hoop and stuffing up! Sadly, scroll frames are impossible to find in Australia I've found and shipping on ebay isn't the cheapest from the US!
So for now, quantity over quality it is for me! Plus I've just discovered the wonderful world of plastic canvas so I have a feeling it'll be a while before I pick up aida again :P

But seriously, wow!
