Fall Out 3 pattern request.

Post by metrix »

Hi everyone! I'm a first time poster here, but a long time reader! I get most, if not all of my crafting project ideas from this board the websites, and I absolutely adore it.

But I do have a pattern request right now. I am not sure if it can be done, or breaks any rules, because it doesn't exactly have to do with any sprites. :( So I apologize if this post is unacceptable!

Here is the image that i would like turned into a pattern:

size doesn't really matter, but i think the size that the image is, is a really good size for what i am looking to do.

Thank you so much!

Did you want the whole picture or just pipboy??

Yesss, my boyfriend has been playing the game quite frequently again, and I never really paid much attention to the art and graphics behind the game. I was paying special attention one night though, and noticed how, well, CUTE, the stat screen was and thought it would make an excellent gift for him.

I was just looking for the stats portion, the entire black and green area. :D

What count of aida was you thinking of working with??? This is looking quite big. So far its on 18 count at 16 inches by 11 inches.
I've also found another image which is cleaner but a bit different from the one you supplied. I'm going to do one of that image too and post them both. See which you like better.

I've done the patterns. These are really big like I said. My partner pointed out that your boyfriend would prefer his name in it. You can just insert that if you chose the other one that I did. I hope you like them. The second one I found searching google images if your wondering. :D

Let me know if you don't have pcstitch and I'll export the images for you.

Jelibe- what if you used back stitching for most of it? That could make the pattern smaller and easier to do.
Metrix- that is a cool screen to stitch, wish I had time.

Nice work guys!

WOW Jelibe, that is perfect! The second one is the one I'm going to use for sure. And I really like your partners idea, so I think thats what I will do, just put his tag in there instead.

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this for me!

Yeah, I am really excited to get started. Hopefully in the next month or so. I'm still working on the Home Sweet Home Mario Castle pattern I found on here for our apartment. It's taking a lot longer than I anticipated... plus, I ran out of thread. Boo. :(
