MAY/JUNE Challenge - Video Game Quotes!

Post by blackmageheart »

OK everybody, new challenge set - video game quotes!

We're looking for a quote from a video game - it can be any game, mainstream or obscure; any quote, famous, funny or just your favourite moment. You can add a sprite, or some detail from the game itself - I'll leave that up to you.

Entries will be accepted from May 1st until 30th June!
DMLC wrote:-- examples
Mario -- "It's-a me, Mario!" or "So long-ee, Bowser!"

Final fantasy -- Chocobo: Wark! or Tonberry: Doink!

Zelda -Ganondorf-- Do not think this ends here...The history of light and shadow will be written in blood!

Ōkami--Issun"A handsome guy like me should never be covered in wolf slobber!"
This is my first challenge as mod so I want to make this a great one - go nuts!! Any size, any craft!! :D

I am going to participate in this one and am going to make a quilt. I have to finish a Baby Peach quilt I am working on, then I will get started. I am excited for my design!

I understand the quote needs to be from a video game, but does the rest of the entry need to be? I'm thinking of doing a non-video game object saying the quote (it will make sense)... wanted to make sure that's okay. This is my 1st challenge and I don't want to break any rules! Thank you.

Yeah, I don't see why not as long as the quote is from a video game :D

Awesome, thanks. You're going to love mine! Now I just need school to get out (high school teacher) so I can have time to craft!

Mine is going to be very plain, so it probably won't win, but I'm going to do it anyway because it's a great quote. I'll be glad to stitch something - I've been making everything from perler beads lately.
Current Project(s): How much time do you have? LOL
