This is a commission from my Etsy shop, but it turned out so well I wanted to share it with everyone! It's about 5 by 2 inches, and I glued felt on the back for added durability. I stitched it on plastic canvas with all 6 strands. Let me know what you think!

It's really cute! The shadowing on the letters really make them stand out! :pika

So jealous :cray:

I've been trying to do the edging for about 2 years now. First I failed with Christmas ornaments (I ended up just leaving a plastic canvas edge around them), and now I'm failing with bookmarks.

Help me have a win. How did you do the edging? :Pray

Nausica of the Wind and Miyazaki-san for the win! Studio Ghibli forever!

Which kind of edging technique did you use? The wrap around?

Thanks! Yeah I used the wrap around, and I just finished posting a tutorial in the Misc. for anyone who might want it. It's funny, the most feedback I've ever gotten has been on how I do the wrap around!

Love this! I might have to steal the idea of using felt on the back for my husbands bookmark. We were trying to figure out how to back it. Of course I have to wash and iron it first.

But doing edging really well is actually not as *ahem* common as you might think. I'm terrible at it for the record. And I've seen a lot of not so great stuff out there too. (Generally not here, more just out on the web.)

I was remiss however, in not commenting on how cute the Eevee was. And how I thought that the shading stitching on the name made it pop out of that electric blue color. Well done!
