Andy the Android

My fiance' is obsessed with his Droid, so I decided to stitch Andy the Android for him as his V-day gift. However, the original I was working on is 7.5" x 9" and nowhere near being finished. I took this picture:

and whipped up this pattern:

Something feels slightly off though. I don't really like how his antennae turned out. I also this I'm going to use half stitches around his eyes to give them a more round appearance.

Any contributing thoughts, oh gurus of the stitching world?

Feel free to make fun of my patterns. They are made in Paint and very unprofessional, but they serve their purposes well enough. ^^

I didn't get it done in time for Valentine's Day, but I did show it to him and he was very excited.

It's going on the back burner for the moment so I can (hopefully) get my Feb challenge piece done.
