Chrono Trigger
I was wanting to make a chrono trigger cross stitch for my husband for christmas, it's his favorite game of all time but I've never played it so I know nothing about popular scenes or characters. I was wondering if anyone could make a pattern involoving a popular scence with all the characters in it from the game. I would like it to be around 12 inches wide but I understand the bigger the more detail so bigger would be fine. As for the amount of colors I was thinking around 5o but again if more colors makes it better thats ok. Even if no-one has a pattern than maybe you could suggest a scene I could go with to try to make one myself. Thanks!

Re: Chrono Trigger
I tried the first picture on KG chart but didn't get results with the background. I went for the second and it came out way better, I think I'll go with this one. I've posted the pattern below for those who are interested. For now the pattern is on 18 ct cloth but it comes out 71cm X 53cm and I'm not sure if I want it that big but I'm not sure I want to small a count either or it may be hard on the eyes to see those tiny squares. It uses 29 colors.

Re: Chrono Trigger
Those are great scenes. Even though I remember both of them, I'd forgotten just how great they were.
Both of them could nicely be cropped, I'll wager. The less sky and forest you need to stitch the better for your sanity.
Good choices. I was wracking my brain when I read the request. God I love Chrono Trigger.

Re: Chrono Trigger
this is such a fantastic pattern. My boyfriend Adores this game as well, and I bet he'd love something like this. Would it be okay if I used it? I'm not sure if i've got the time or materials to begin it anytime soon, but I figured it would be better to ask than to just go ahead and start.

I think it would be ok for you to crack on, just make sure you mention where you got the pattern from and who made it. That's all we really ask for around here!Chudmuffin34 wrote:this is such a fantastic pattern. My boyfriend Adores this game as well, and I bet he'd love something like this. And pictures of your project are always welcome, because we like to see the patterns become a finished article! Good luck!

Re: Chrono Trigger
Here are some patterns I have made in the past that are a little less sanity testing.
This is from the end of the end of game sequence.
And one that has the characters and their mugsThread Tracker for iPhone/iPod touch/iPad: http://touchscreencraft.wordpress.com

Re: Chrono Trigger
The "Mugs" are from the Info page ( you know when you press X on any SNES RPG ) which I took screen shots from ZSNES and cut them up.
