You should see their Pattern and Pattern Request forums. They are amazing. Seriously. I've got a stack of projects sitting on my desk that I want to do that's growing bigger every day ever since I signed up here.

Wow! Great work all around! I especially love that portrait. I'm about to try my hand at a portrait soon, but I'm a little nervous. Any tips?

Get a hold of Nabbi/ Hama beads. It fills in more of the pattern making it look more like a photo.
Also, iron very slowly. With all 3 beads, they melt at different rates and it's harder to put them up in once they fall out.
