zelda stained glass

Post by celebriwen »

Fell in love with the stained glass piece but i wasn't very fond of the blurrieness and the almost 100 colors...
So i put some time(almost 2 days) to make it clearer and with less colors.
So far i've got a black and white lineart pice.

Hope you'll like it!

Could be epic. Can't wait to see it colored.

I really like this so far! I agree that it might be nice with less colours, but filling this in is epic in itself!

My best friend is stitching this picture right now! Your pattern is going to look smashing when the colour is added.

nicely done. i must admit, the only thing stopping me doing that piece was the blurriness, i might have a crack at this after you've added the colours, should look good :D

I've just started it!
And I should warn others, it's enormous..
On 4,4/cm or 11ct aida its 79cmx53cm or 421stx279st.

It will take forever but I travel alot and hopefully won't get bored..

I hope you don't mind that I took liberties on your outline. I took your outline and added colors. I simplified it to 20 colors because 100 is just insane. I am going to start this project in the next few weeks. I am sure it will take a year or so to stitch, but I am very excited. Thank you for all of your work on the outline. :zelda
Here's what it will look like (hopefully)

I plan on stitching it over one on 25 count lugana- it will be about 12"x17". Look at the colors more as a guideline. I've noticed the color on my monitor is not the same as the color of the floss in real life.
