Wow, this has been so helpful! I've been using Hobbyware Pattern Maker to make patterns from photographs, but it's been terrible with drawn images. I did have one question.... is there any way to make KG Chart print the pattern all on one page, and then the floss list on another? It keeps wanting to print the pattern over like 6 pages and it's making me crazy. Thanks in advance!

On the Print Preview screen there is a little bar under the words 'Mesh size'. This will increase/decrease the size of the mesh.

(This seems to have been fixed since version 1.22.02)

A little note for those making big patterns

There is a small error in the marks that the program assigns the the colours. The marks 91 and 92 have the same mark, a thin lined square, so if you have more than 92 colours in your pattern, two of the colours will have the same mark and you will need to change one. To do this you simply right-click on the colour and choose 'Change Mark'.

As far as I know this is in every version released so far, so I've left a message on the KG Chart support forum for the writer to read.

Another little quirk of this program is that when you are looking at your chart information it states the size in cm as double what it actually is. Gave myself a bit of a shock before I realized that while working on a large chart.

I find that if you click that "rect" button, it switches to the correct measurement... until you close and reopen the info screen.
